Avatune ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymized user identifier from Apple. We do not receive your name, email address, or any other personal information unless you choose to share it.
Photos You Upload
If you choose to upload a selfie to generate an avatar, the image is transmitted to our AI provider (fal.ai) solely for the purpose of generating your avatar. We do not store your original photo. The generated avatar image is stored on our servers (Cloudflare R2) and associated with your anonymous account.
Usage Data
We store the number of avatars you have generated this month in order to enforce plan limits. We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your account
- To generate AI avatar images on your request
- To enforce monthly generation quotas
- To process subscription payments via Apple In-App Purchase
3. Third-Party Services
- Apple — Authentication (Sign in with Apple) and payments (In-App Purchase)
- fal.ai — AI image generation. Photos are transmitted to fal.ai solely to process your request and are not retained by them beyond the request lifecycle.
- Cloudflare — Infrastructure (Workers, R2, D1). Data is stored in the United States.
4. Data Retention
Generated avatar images are stored as long as your account is active. If you sign out and do not sign back in, your data may be deleted after 90 days. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
5. Children's Privacy
Avatune is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
